Yoga

YOGA is the science and art of healthy living – physically, mentally, morally and spiritually. The term Yoga is derived from the word "Yog" which means "to integrate". The integration of physical, mental and spiritual energies that enhance health and well-being is Yoga.
Yoga aims at the development of a perfect balance between the body and the mind, which eventually permits the individual seeker’s union with the Divine. Eventually, it brings you into a closer understanding with that higher Power - which is greater than yourself – is Yoga.
Yoga is amongst the oldest known systems of wellbeing-disciplines practiced in the world.
Yoga - the art of right living is based on three principles :
- Self Discipline (involving the practices of Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas and Meditation)
- Regulation of diet and lifestyle habits
- Changing one's attitude and behavior towards the things that surround us.
Research has shown the power of Yoga in reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, regulating heart rate and even slowing down the aging process.
