Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the technique of inserting and manipulating fine needles at specific points on the body with the aim of relieving pain and / or for therapeutic purposes. The treatment aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body.
Most modern acupuncturists use disposable stainless steel needles of fine diameter, which are virtually pain-free and are sterilized, to stimulate the acupressure points. Most of the acupuncture points are found along fourteen channels, which are described in classical and traditional Chinese medical texts, as pathways through which the vital life force (called Qi) and blood flow. These needles may be manipulated by the practitioner’s hands or stimulated by an Electro-stimulator.
The treatment is useful for many so-called "incurable disorders" especially paralysis, back pains asthma, cervical / lumbar spondylosis, slip disc, sciatica, arthritis, knee pain, frozen shoulder, migraine, etc.
